Final Chapter

Number twenty seven is the final chapter, I should note. There will be epilogues from Brandy and Tony.

I can't remember where I came up with the name 'Chessu' for the Chinese province. A Google search seems to indicate the term is indigenous to Europe.

Overall, this was a relatively early effort (summer of 2002) and I find the writing style aloof, scenes and much character interaction not well developed, too swiftly moving from what could be much more provocatively presented senarios.

Offered this (the various D/s elements) as clay to be molded, I think today it would result in a work the size of the Collosus of Rhodes rather than a mantle piece for the living room, if I had time to finish it.

Perhaps we should take JHoltgym to Chessu...

I understand your self-critique, and even agree with it to a degree, though my own reaction differs in a way. Normally I mostly relate to stories in which there is an emotional connection (of some sort) which the domme explores or exploits in numerous ways for her gratification and self-interest. This work has so many places where that begins, mostly through schadenfreude, which is always very intense for me.

But while I agree (in a way) with your criticisms there is another side for me, in which the women are themselves so aloof and so into the pure exploitation of men to be used entirely as property that the aloofness, the less developed character interaction, and senarios moving too quickly all work together in a way which I find very effective.

If JHoltgym is going to Chessu can't we arrange a bus or cargo plane? I'll pay for everyone's transportation as long as I can go too. (Seems that money will be the least of my worries in Chessu.)

Watson,
might you be the same "Watson" that was a member of Princess Myrina's Galley on Yahoo?

I don't think I am. I'm sorry for the oblique answer, I have been on Yahoo for a long time and in various forums, including even one galley but I don't remember Princess Myrina and something tells me it would have been a memorable experience.
