New Followers

Lots of new followers of late. Not sure what has triggered the interest, but welcome and feel free to comment on any of the stories and snippets.

Started this blog as an exchange of ideas...

Dear Chris-

I added your blog to my link list on Monday. Could be one source of your new followers. I recognize some as my followers, too.

Best,

Chris-

Thanks. As I noted in my comment on your Ingrid Bellemare death post, I currently own several of your PF ebooks. And have so noted when I added your link.

I've enjoyed your unique and inventive, edgy FemDom writing for over a year.

Best,

Yes, I've read your blog. Very prolific. You offer interesting stuff with lots of research.

I estimate that my published writings now exceed 2,000,000 words. Whereas I work (and search) hard not to be repetitive, it is becoming more and more difficult.

So I suspect my productivity will begin to wane.

A mechanical engineer once informed me that there are only three basic motions... push, pull and twist. And I am beginning to believe there are similar limits at to the torment one can describe in various D/s scenarios.

There is also the curious task of entitling a manuscript... probably more important than any other aspect in ensuring that a story sells. It required a few efforts to learn this, good stories with less than torrid titles don't make it in the field of erotica.

And so, it's deflating to write a good story ('The Gimp' is an example) and have it achieve mediocrity.

I appreciate all the kind words and hope you enjoy. But I suspect the output will diminish.

Regards,

CB

Chris-

Not to worry. One nice thing about writing- the body of work remains.

Is Shakespeare any less revered for being dead and, thus, currently unproductive? I'll have to check out 'The Gimp.'

Your observations regarding the marketing of your work are completely believable. As are your thoughts concerning new directions for your work. I guess, in the end, your own imagination will determine that, n'est pas? Part of why I have ceased a personal commitment to daily FemDom blogging.

But, with new stimuli, the motivations reawaken.

Thanks for the nod in the direction of my blog.
