Great story, I like the non consensual setting. This story is more serious and darker than many of your more recent works. I hope this is just the first part of a series. The plot and the characters have much potential.
And by the way...what about finishing "Amandas bitch boys"?

Echelon,

Glad you enjoyed.

I am perplexed by this consent/non consent paradigm creeping into D/s fiction. When I write a story I don't give it any thought. I just tell a story. But to offer books on Amazon and other sites it is now a consideration.

So I boycott the book sellers by not applying for an ISBN number (Lulu stuff only, Pink Flamingo does their own thing once I offer them a story).

As an experiment, a while back I formatted 'Tie Me Chicago' for Amazon and somebody 'bushwhacked' it with a bad review... something about 'bait and switch' to which I have no clue as to the reference. This means limited sales though I like the story and believe it to be unique. So I am withdrawing it for sale there and will not offer any others. It will remain available from Lulu.

I would never suggest denying a reader the right to review a story, just bring clarity to your words. And please, if you don't like murder mysteries don't pan a story because someone gets killed! Same with D/s fiction... by definition there is going to be pain, bondage etc. If that is upsetting put down the book... and your critiquing pen.

I have no idea what the typical Kindle reader expects in D/s literature. But it appears to be a love story with a taint of kink. I don't do that. I write about power... the power of sexual attraction and the foibles in yielding to it.

The other concern with offering stories on Amazon et. al. is the mass of very poorly written stuff which in many instances is over priced. For any good author not much will stand out and he/she will find their stuff thrown onto a pile of trash. Other than 'Molly Sands' (see my May 6, 2019 post) I have yet to find an author with basic skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, flowing dialogue, cohesive story line, etc.) and even she has some noteworthy errors (the protagonist's name changed from Joseph to David in her latest effort).

I am in a quandary as to what to do with 'Miss Amanda's Bitch Boys' in terms of finalizing. But the task is on my list.

Thanks for reading.

Regards,

CB
